Originally from New Jersey, Sam received her BS in Exercise Science from Salisbury University in Maryland then her Master of Occupational Therapy from Tennessee State University. Her OT experience includes serving the pediatric population in the home, clinic, and independent school settings.
Sam is passionate about building relationships with families and utilizing a child’s strengths to meet his or her OT goals. She loves watching a child’s confidence grow as they master new skills. Her areas of interest include interoception, sensory-based feeding, and neurodiversity-affirming care. As a dedicated lifelong learner, Sam is always seeking new knowledge to better support and care for children and their families.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys hitting the trails on foot, snowboard, and bike, reading, and spending time with her husband, Kevin, and pup, Tony.
