Shelby is originally from a small town called Murray, Kentucky (go cats!). She moved to the Nashville area in 2018 and currently resides in Columbia. She received a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Murray State University and a Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences from the University of Kentucky.
As a speech-language pathologist, Shelby has worked in the area of pediatrics in both private practice and school settings. Her special interests include articulation/speech sound production, early and school-aged language, apraxia, and dyslexia.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Millie and Ruby, friends and family. She loves serving in her church's kid and student ministries. She is a big sports fan and enjoys all things outdoors (hiking, camping, kayaking), cooking, and traveling.
